Vancouver destruction

So, the show was a huge success. I think there are maybe 4 paintings left, and they will be gone by the end of the week. Awesomeness. Thanks to all the supporters, for sure. Got some new projects coming up, It's getting crazy out there - me heads gonna explode...............

New show

Here is the flyer for the show, it's very hush hush. There are 20 individual paintings, not one big one, and they are 50 bones each(I may actually except bones). I told Tyler Fedchuck that I was over painting; well, Tyler I lied. Thanks as ever to my sponsors Etnies, WE clothing, and drop.

Some new friends of mine

Here are some of my new pals. They are very misunderstood, but are very willing to accommodate your every fantasy. Oh, they will be hanging at NLA showroom at the FX building in Vancouver. I'm pretty sure that it's open to the public, but if not it's ok cause I'm an elitist piece of shit anyway. Could someone get the door for me?

Shoes galore

Painted up some shoes for the lovely ladies at sole tech in Cali. They are the peeps behind Etnies. Hope you enjoy them, ladies, your gonna make a lot of people jealous. If anyone wants shoes contact me. Send me a pair of white Etnies and I will paint a pair for $200can. They gotta be new Etnies though. Unless, you got cowboy boots cause that would be straight up cool.

Colab

This is the joint piece I did with Tim Barnard, in Montreal, for the 'Off the Hook' show. Just came back into my possesion so I thought I'd post it. This is my first official colab, since my last visit to my home away from home. Check Tim barnard out on the web. Type his name into Google and he'll pop up - that weird little man. We have a love hate relationship.

Gonna have some Ltd. edition soccer shirts coming out. I hate saying soccer, it's football people. God thats frustrating. Maybe England can win a world cup this time around; doubt it though. This is the rough layout for the shirt it may change and the artwork is way tighter than that in real life. Howay the Lads!

Montreal a go go

As soon as I typed this title I had to go and put Bowie on. Montreal was great. The family and I had a right-old vacation. The city is so alive, even when it's freezing out-and by Montreal's standards it was warm. The art show at 'off the hook' was literally of the hook. Thanks to everyone involved and thanks to Tim Barnard. I sold some pieces, made some friends, and crushed my enemies: very British. So, from that show I have some top secret projects coming up, I will keep it posted. The blog that is. Thanks to Jesse and all the WE crew; Oli Van Roost and his family for putting us up; and Harry and Angelo for being tolerant; oh, and that Kelly chick for keeping the booze flowing all night. Montreal a go go

So I have a shoe coming up in a show at 'off the hook' in montreal and then at the start of april I will be having a joint show at 'off the hook' with Tim Barnard, gonna be sick. If you're in the area for sure check it out! I will post a flyer in the next couple of weeks with all the info. Check these paintings, they are going to be in the show. I'll post the show aswell. And just wanted to say a huge thanks to all my sponsers and patrons, its gonna be a killer year.

More commisions

They don't speak human

So, I find it hard to do commissions for people, but I try. This is for my friend's mom, but I'm thinking that it may never make its way to her mom's hands. This piece will never hang at a show so this is like a web exclusive...whooooooo.

New art

My show has been and gone. Thanks to all those that made an appearance. The good news........I sold half of my paintings in 30 minutes, and then the rest went by the end of the night; so, I completely sold out which has never happened to me before. Stoked. I have shows planned for 2006 keep ya eyes peeled and right now I will be working on commissions. Here are some pics I will post more soon.

So...I got the ol' show coming up on Thursday night, and I hope lots of you ingrates will be attending. It's at DNA skatestore at the Old City Quarter, Nanaimo. It's on December 1st at 7pm and will go on untill 10pm, whence we will go and enjoy brews at the local pub. The art will hang for one month, anyone buying for Christmas can pick up art before the pressie day, and I've lost my train of thought. Check out how good I look in this local rag pic, sweet.

Redbull

This painting is for Redbull Canada, they have it hanging in their main office. I drank so much Redbull that I was ill for days. Mixing that shit with vodka has to be the worst thing for you, but it gets you hammered so fast. When I contacted them and told them that the painting was ready they were all over sending me some free drinks, not feeling it lads sorry.

Sketches not from Spain

So, I thought I should include some sketches to show how things are working out. I very rarely would use a sketch before a painting, but lately I have been doing so more and more. Some of these sketches are from a few years ago, they have either turned into paintings, or have been an inspiration towards finished pieces. The long sketch is for a painting hanging in my friends office, but the final piece ended up looking way different. He should be pretty stoked to see this. TV is shouting at me right now so I should go see what all the fricken commotion is about.

Etnies Shoes

Whilst in Montreal, I got the chance to do some painting on a brand spanking new pair of Etnies shoes. First time I had the chance to do somethimg like this, and I was happy with the results. Hopefully they can hook me with a pair for my upcoming show in December, I just realised that there is a typo on the poster as it's supoosed to read "Fitzwilliam St." not Fitwilliam. Shit, whatever. People know what I mean but if your coming from out of town email me for directions. Also check the link for DNA, this is where the show is and they may be able to help with better directions.
